Some of the most common questions I get regarding nutrition coaching. Of course you can always contact me directly with any and all questions as well.
What can a Nutrition Coach do for me?
A nutrition coach will spend the time to help you figure out what your personal health and wellness issues are, help them develop strategies to overcome them, whether it's that they want to lose weight, reduce stress, sleep better or lower the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
What can you expect from me, as your nutrition coach?
In short....support, accountability, and knowledge. First and foremost I'm here to support YOU. Whether you are starting out or already on the path to better health and nutrition, changing your routine can be tough and you will go through many emotions. It is so important to have support and someone to talk too as you change your lifestyle. I will be in your corner, coaching and guiding you towards your goals every step of the way.
Why do I need an initial assessment?
The assessment will provide a baseline of information which will include your goals and desired outcomes, current lifestyle and environment, health needs, mindset, and so on. The initial assessment is quite comprehensive and allows for me to gather and analyse this data to make the best possible nutrition plan for you.
What about exercise?
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you will know that I love to get a good hard workout in a few days a week. It is my therapy, my happy place, and where I feel strong. Exercise is something that I believe to be an essential part of the journey to better health. During your initial assessment, we will discuss your current physical activity and your goals therein. Because this is not my area of expertise, I will be recommending a trusted and certified trainer who has a multitude of services to offer that will fit your lifestyle and goals. I believe that having the right people and experts coaching you on your journey is key to your success.
